Dr. Némedi Erzsébet élelmiszeripari mérnök, biotechnológus, élelmiszertudományi PhD-jával az EIT Food szakértője, a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia köztestületi tagja, az EFSA Tudományos Bizottságának szakértője. Több éven át nemzeti szakértői küldöttként dolgozott Brüsszelben az agrár-élelmiszeripari program bizottságában és a NAIK innovációs igazgatójaként.

25 éve foglalkozik az élelmiszeriparban tapasztalható globális trendekkel, élelmiszertermék-fejlesztéssel, az összetevők hatásával, a kommunikációval, a szabályozással és a fenntarthatósági kérdésekkel.

Dr. Erzsébet Némedi is a food engineer and biotechnologist with a PhD in Food Science. She is an expert at EIT Food, a public body member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and an expert of the EFSA Scientific Committee. For several years, she worked in Brussels as a delegated national expert on the Agri-Food Programme Committee and later served as Director of Innovation at NAIK (National Agricultural Research and Innovation Centre).

She has 25 years of experience in analysing global trends in the food industry, food product development, the impact of ingredients, communication, regulatory issues and sustainability.

She is one of the three founders of the COMPESSA Innovation and Strategy Platform, which supports food industry professionals and companies in addressing challenges related to industry trends, concepts, sales, strategic directions, product development, technologies, legislation, food safety, communication, market dynamics and health sciences.

As a rabbi’s wife (rebbetzin) and community builder, she offers a unique insight into the world of traditional Jewish cuisine and lifestyle. She cooks with passion and conveys love through her recipes to her followers. A genuine voice in gastronomy, she presents kosher dining in a modern form, while inviting everyone to gather around the table who is open to traditions, values, and, of course, great flavors.

Pályáját a gyógyszeriparban kezdte, ahol mind a fejlesztés és gyógyszergyártás, mind az értékesítés és marketing területeket végigjárta. A PPH Mediához az orvosi lapok kapcsán került, ahol a bővülő portfólióban több területen is kipróbálhatta magát. Részt vett az Élelmiszer szaklap Store Insider-ré válásának kitalálásában és megvalósításában. A kiadóban több szakmai verseny állandó zsűritagja.

She began her career in the pharmaceutical industry, gaining experience in product development and pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as in sales and marketing. She joined PPH Media through its portfolio of medical publications, where she had the opportunity to work across several areas as the company’s portfolio expanded. She was actively involved in the concept development and transformation of the Élelmiszer trade magazine into Store Insider. She is also a regular jury member of several professional competitions organised by the publishing company.
